Christopher Albert Frederick

Christopher A. Frederick , 58, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday, March 14th, at LVHN Cedar Crest. Christopher was born in Pottsville, Pa. on April 14, 1965, a son of Elizabeth J. (Dusel) and Jerome E. Frederick He was the husband of Brenda Lee (Bernasz) Frederick. He served in the U.S. Army.  Chris worked side by side with his father and brother at their family heating and electrical business, JE Frederick & Sons. He was a Coach with both the Pottsville Girls softball league and an assistant Coach with Minersville Area High School Softball. Chris enjoyed riding his Harley. He was an Antique Car enthusiast. A Member of the Chrysler 300 Club, an avid hunter and fisherman. He was known for his love for his dogs. Going to the beach was a favorite destination of his. He enjoyed going to concerts and educating his children on all music genres and he loved collecting Sports Cards and memorabilia In addition to his parents, and his wife, Brenda he is survived by a daughter, Alysia Frederick, a son, Jerome, husband of Nicole Frederick. Chris is also survived by a brother, Bryan, husband of Lisa Frederick. Several nieces,and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Visitation will be held 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 23rd at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville, PA. A Religious Service will follow at 11:00 with Wayne Orlick officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Minersville Area Hiigh School Softball or Pottsville Area High School Softball.
